Nails

Hey dolls! Over the past few weeks, I have become huge on nails... the shape, the cuticles, nail polish.

Along with this I have been experimenting how to make my vanish last as long as possible.

Although my technique is not yet there, I'm happy enough enough to share my current routine with you.

After prepping my nails (which I will do another post on) I apply a sheer coat of the nail colour. However I do not aplly this colour to the edges, although I do apply it very close to the nail beds. Doing thi smeans my nails do not get stained by the polish but can be sealed in by the top coat.

After the first coat has dried I apply the second and leave this to dry. After this coat I usually continue onto the top coat however if the nail ploish is sheer I will apply a third and then the top coat.

When applying the top coat I apply it right to edges, and concentrate aound teh tip to ensure I have sealed the nails to avoid chips. Dependent on what polish I wear My nail polish can now last from 3-6 days which is amazing compared to how long my nail polish used t olast which was about 2 days.

I have found that Barry M lasts about 4 days where essie or O.P.I lasts about 5-6.
