Carino oil & the cut.

Hey dolls, first things first. On Monday my hair got the snip :(

I had it cut by a family friend called Charlotte in mack which is in chelmsford (it's lovely in there.) I went in not really knowing what I wanted, I had a few pictures but nothing that was a definite style/cut.

Cutting a long story short, here is the most recent photo that I have before the cut...

And here's a photo which I just snapped for you. For anyone that's into hairdressing I had 3 inch off, a single box layer and slightly feathered towards the front.

Do I love it hmm, I love the layers and angle that's at the front but the length I'm not over the moon about. I have been growing my hair for months to say the least and now I feel like I'm back at square one, I haven't washed it yet, so I haven't worked out how to get some volume in there, but overall it's just too short for my linking. I will be keeping the style for a while I think, maybe chopping a slight in but the length as soon as it's back the better in my opinion.

I also purchased the Carino Oil which is aldis dupe for moroccan oil. First impressions are good, it's not to heavy on the hair and does not weigh it down. It also keeps my hair smooth and relatively shiny. I am interested to see how it works in damp hair. SO far my only fault of the product is that it contains alcohol which I try to avoid using on my hair where ever possible! It's just a thing of mine.
