January favorites.

January favourites, better late then never...
This month there have been a couple of surprising products that i never thought I'd like, let alone mention in a favourites.

I'll get the boring one out the way first. revlon colourstay!! I bang on about this foundation all the time but it truly is a god send. My skin has been going a tiny bit crazy with breakouts, and reaching for this. LOVE LOVE LOVE. Many would describe this as a full coverage foundation, however i would say it's medium however can be full as it never goes cakey.

Collections Sheer loose powder is yet another surprising products. Needless to say it was one of those products that i brought for the sake of spending a couple of pounds and was expecting to hate it, but i just can't. I thought it would break me out because of the scent and talc, it didn't. I thought it would be terrible at controlling oil, it wasn't and i thought it would be cakey, which it isn't i can even though up throughout the day with it.

Because collections loose powder isn't too finely milled I've been using elfs powder brush rather than a powder puff which i usually opt for. The density of the brush means that you can place the product onto your face much like a puff while not disturbing the makeup below.

My favourite lip combination this month has been NYX lip liner in mauve which I originally hated but then realised I was using a far too heavy hand which was making it look pretty awful, Revlon lip butter in strawberry short cake and 17's mirror shine beehive. Not only is it a very moisturising and long lasting combination it also offers a natural yet pluming look.

This past month I have enjoyed barbie pinks on my nails, this rimmel one is just an example of the colour. The star really is seche vite top coat, it doesn't stop your nails from chipping as quickly, however it's SO shiny and keeps you nails that way! If you're looking for a shiny top coat this is the one!

Lastly is the balance me balancing facial cleanser and moisturiser, I have been using the cleanser both morning and night and the moisturiser under my makeup. My skin had been breaking out pretty badly so I turned to these products as they are nearly 100% natural and my breakouts cleared up straight away!

That's all for now, sorry about the lighting of the photo, I took it around 2am haha, speak soon
xxxx
