My last foundation review proved pretty popular so I figured that I'd do another.
I purchased the 17 Miracle Matte Foundation in boots for £5.99 which is a reasonable cheap price point.
There were only 4 colours in the shade range which was disappointing however all the shades have a neutral undertone opening it up to a much wider group of people. I have the colour Natural.
I love that the foundation has a pump applicator and the packing doesn't feel cheap which is nice even though it's all plastic.
The foundation is fairly thick however not hard to blend. It does not have a scent, and instead just smells quite strongly of a foundation, kind of playdohy.
The foundation blends pretty easily, although you have to work at it to make it look natural on the skin, I found it to work best with a buffing brush.
The coverage if medium, I struggled to build it up without resulting in a cake face.
As for oil control I did not find it fantastic, about 5 hours into the day I was looking oily and needing to blot and powder, and had to repeat this about 3 times throughout the day.
Aside from these I did enjoy the foundation, it wouldn't be my first pick and will not be finding itself in my everyday makeup bag.
I wouldn't recommend this foundation to someone starting out in makeup, although I would to someone on a lower budget wanting a medium coverage mattifying foundation.
