Give your hair a treat!

This post is going to focus on two products, one which I had planned to feature on my blog and the other a whim purchases that has come out tops!

The first product is Kerastase Ciment Thermique, I brought his on recommendation from a friend who is also a fabulous hairdresser and stylist.
When ever I get my hair done I continuously ask into her about products, what they do and what ones are best suited to my hair.
After a day of shooting with her for a L'Oreal hairdressing competition I brought this.  In a nutshell she explained to me as simple a product that you slap onto the end of your hair and then in goes into the hair shaft and when heat styling your hair up to 180c it acts as a kind of glue for you ends, strengthening them and prevents split ends.
I use this on the end of my hair, I apply is directly before styling with straightening irons, it doesn't really have a smell. Surprisingly it doesn't leave a sticky or tackiness to the hair, neither does it weigh it down.

Following on from this while in my history me and the girl where discussing hair products while I was moaning about dry, brittle hair that lacks shine. They all suggested the Aussie Take The Heat 3 Minute Miracle.
This is one of those products that everyone and their aunt has used and loved. I have tried Aussie products before however I always assumed that this was one of the gimmicks that failed to do much.
You can pick it up in most super markets/drugstores and I suggest you do! My hair has never felt so nourished or looked so shiny in a very long time. When applying the product I didn't go sparingly at all choosing to cake it on my hair, taking it up into the roots. The bottle claims that it contains Jojoba-seed oil, although i have failed to find this in the ingredients and it contains little that appears to do much. Despite this it does and for £3.50 you cannot go wrong.

  1. I love this, and like you only brought it after a hairdressers recommendation!
