Nars Laguna.

It is likely that Nars Laguna is the most talked about bronzer in the blogging community. While wandering the beauty hall of Selfridges and after a fair amount of encouragement from a friend I caved and dished out £26 for the 8g product.

I have always been a huge fan of matte bronzers, a smooth texture and fair amount of pigmentation is important to me. However I do not like a huge amount of pigmentation and would far rather build up the colour rather than having to reach for the makeup wipes!

I had always been under the impression that Laguna was a matte bronzer... this is not the case, and nearly put me off the purchase in far that I would resemble a disco ball, especially with my already oily skin. I was promised though that the gold shimmer that runs through the product does not transfer onto the skin and after applying it this morning I would agree with that.

Laguna is the lightest of the three shades offered  by Nars and I would considering purchasing a deeper shade for the summer months, when I step up my fake tanning routine. I apply all my bronzer with a fan brush as they can be used both for contouring and general bronzing. A light hand is essential when applying and swirling your brush around and dusting over you face will result in a serious makeup disaster!

I cannot not mention the packaging its gorgeous, sturdy and compact boasting a huge mirror.

All in I love the product and it's encouraged me to look into blushes and setting powders by nars, although I have got my eye on a hefty amount of Laura Mercier products. Leave a comment below if you have any suggestions of bronzers that you love and I can give a whirl .
