Kerastase Elixir Ultime

Since I now bleach my hair, heat style it all while trying to grow it I'm starting to step up my hair care. Although it's proving expensive.  If you saw this product in my haul you will know that my main reason for purchasing this product was the smell, it's divine! Like a perfume for your hair many would describe it as a lessened Tom Ford Black Orchid, it's gorgeous. The £30 I paid for this alone is worth just the smell, especially when paired with other products from the Elixir Ultime line.

I have always used hair oils, however never higher end ones. I enjoy using them on damp hair before blow drying or styling. I also enjoy using them after styling to tame fly aways and add extra gloss. For me that hair oil works no different. In my opinion it is a lot lighter in consistency compared to others which surprised me as they offer a light option of the oil!

I was surprised to see that the product contains a blend of 6 different oils. From my research there doesn't appear to be any silicons in this products although some people would disagree.

For me the smell of this product is the tipping point and is what encouraged me to pay the hefty price tag for it! I'm not sure I would repurchase this as every pump feel naughty due to the price! Despite the fact it is actually a pretty decent hair oil!

My advice to Kerastase would be to make perfumes, scented candles, room diffusers ANYTHING in this scent as I would buy them all!

I went shopping

After during and after exams I went slightly crazy and brought a lot as a 'little' pick me up!
This post will likely be in a couple of parts, as I have some clothing items and a couple more packages to arrive :)

(Please excuse the cats behind... she would not move haha)

Kerastase Resistance Ciment Thermique - £15.12
Recently I have done a bit of hair modelling which has really got me into hair care, it is a reconstructing milk for the ends of your hair. There is a separate review coming.

Kereastase Elixir Ultime - £29.35
I brought this hair oil souly for the smell, despite the fact that it has been named the best hair oil on the market I am just going to focus on the smell. Lingering in your hairs for days it could easily double as your perfume. Especially if you use the shampoo as well as. Yet again there is a separate review coming.

Gernier Ambre Soaire Resisto Kids 50+ - £7
This was a mistake purchase. I'm going away towards the end of July to Portugal so I'm in the full swing of holiday purchases. My go to sun protectant is the P20 brand however it can be pretty pricey. I has seen that Garnier also a clear like oil (rubbish description there) and wanted to try this as a cheaper option. This is just a water lotion though which I personally hate as it smells and leaves a stickiness to the skin. I think I will just use this on my legs.

Benzac AC 2.5% - £21
This is my go to Benzoyl Peroxide product that I will forever repurchase. I use it nightly and it keeps most of my skin problems at bay. Panoxyl was my previous treatment that I would use but it is currently unavailable within the UK at least. I have to purchase this from an Australian seller but I really could not go without it.

OPI's Care To Danse? - £7 is a beautiful sheer lilac for the nails barley showing and giving a milky look it is understated yet still stunning. The colour is from the NYC City Ballet Collection.

The girl who does my hair is an eyelash girl, you will never see her without them! They look gorgeous! After spending many hours with her the past couple of weeks I thought I'd give eyelashes ago! I had a couple of previous pairs that I'd wear on nights out but nothing major. I decided to purchases these two packs of 10 for around £2 each so I could fiddle around with them. Although I haven't become an eyelash girl the eyelashes were both of really good quality!

Lash fix - £2?
Along with the eyelashes I brought glue, although I had teeny bottles which had come with previous eyelashes I had heard many good things about lashfix, many comparing it to due. The glue dries clear however I found it weird. The glue never dried and remained somewhat tacky. Not wet but tacky. I would describe this as a bad thing, it was not what I was expecting from the product.

Clarins Instant Light Lip Peferctor 01 - £13.50
I have spoken about this a million and one times, I can't get enough of it! briefly it is a lip gloss that doubles as a balm/conditioner. Simply brilliant.

Hair tools Waved Grips £8
Head Jog Meta Klipz £4
These are boring but essentials, I purchased them from my local beauty wholesalers

Lastly is this Lancome Eyeshadow Palette, I purchased it from  CCO type store for around £5.
It's not the best and the only colour I can see myself personally using is the brown 'Madison Avenue'
Pigmentation isn't great neither is the packaging. If this is a refection of Lancomes eye shadows I will not be purchasing any more in future.

That;s it for this post. As i mentioned I have a couple of clothing bits I'm dying to show you and an order from Fragrance Direct.
While on my spending frenzy I have also brought myself a UV Gel, Acrylic and Shellac set which I am considering writing a post on.
