Rather than talking entirely about beauty this post is more about life.
I am currently taking 4 A-Levels at my sixth form in Biology, Economics, History and Business. With the end of year exams fast approaching as well as previous exam resits things are beginning to get super hectic not to mention working everyday.
Needless to say this is why posts haven't been often and why my beauty regime has got pretty slap dash...
My hair now gets done twice a week, washed styled and left. I deep condition it every Sunday and that's about it apart from my trips to the hairdresser to get a trim and full head of highlights every of couple of months.

I've also become a acrylic nail girl. I have always suffered from weak, brittle and flakely nails and the acrylics are just doing it for me. Although they are not the best for my natural nails. Nail polish doesn't chip with acrylic and you don't have to worry about breaking a nail. Infills are around very 4 weeks and only take about half a hour which is brilliant.
My main focus at the moment is minimizing time of unnecessary things and maximizing time for revision, hence why my make up has stayed pretty samey as well as most things. I've been opting for lip balms rather than faffing with gloss or lipstick, eye shadows are out the window and I've been using the same blush for about a month now just to put it all into perspective as to how boring things have gotten.
It's fair to say that the most time consuming part of my beauty regime is fake tanning and avoiding patchyness which takes about an extra 5mins every evening. I used st mortiz dark lotion once a week and top up with dove summer glow.
In conclusion this post I guess is an explanation as to why there will be very few blog posts in the coming weeks. I'm quite happily stuck in a rut of what I like. I do have a couple of posts planned and I'm sure I will get a few reviews of new products up. But I'm enjoying spending little time on my hair, makeup and nails by choosing to have natural makeup, acrylic nails with a minimal nail polish (currently wearing opi's care to danse) and enjoying wearing my hair wavyish.
